On 4 February, the University of Algiers 1 organized an Erasmus+ Information Day for students, academics, and researchers from its various faculties. The event aimed to highlight the opportunities offered by European programmes, particularly Erasmus+, in the areas of academic mobility, university exchanges, and scholarships, targeting both individuals and institutions.
The Information Day was led by the Project Manager of the National Erasmus+ Office (NEO) and was structured around two main sessions. The first session focused on individual opportunities available to students and researchers, while the second addressed institutional actions, including Erasmus+ project calls and cooperation opportunities. Participants also benefited from practical guidance on application procedures and effective techniques for identifying and engaging with partner research institutions.
During the event, the Rector of the University Prof. Ammar Haiahem emphasized the importance of Erasmus+ in supporting academic development and strengthening international cooperation, encouraging the university community to actively engage in these opportunities.
