24 May 2026 – As part of the National Erasmus+ Office Algeria’s ongoing efforts to promote European-funded projects and share good practices across Algerian higher education institutions, Prof. Mohamed Boudour, Coordinator of the National Erasmus+ Office (NEO) Algeria, conducted a dissemination visit to the University of 8 May 1945 Guelma dedicated to the LEADS project.
The visit brought together university leaders, academic staff, international relations officers, and students to discuss the achievements and outcomes of the LEADS project and its contribution to the development of higher education in Algeria. The session provided an opportunity to showcase the project’s main activities, present the results achieved by the consortium, and highlight the lessons learned throughout its implementation.
During the event, Prof. Mohamed Boudour emphasized the importance of capitalising on Erasmus+ project results and ensuring their sustainability beyond the project lifetime. He also underlined the role of dissemination activities in increasing the impact of European-funded initiatives and encouraging wider participation of Algerian institutions in Erasmus+ opportunities.
The discussions also focused on the benefits of international cooperation, capacity building, and institutional development, illustrating how projects such as LEADS contribute to strengthening governance, innovation, and quality within higher education institutions. Participants exchanged experiences and explored ways to build upon the project’s achievements through future partnerships and collaborative initiatives.
