SPHERE’s Study Visit at Tampere University of Applied Sciences, Finland

As part of the Higher Education Reform Experts (HERE) activities, Mr. Debabeche Mahmoud participated in the SPHERE Initiative’s Study Visit to Tampere University of Applied Sciences (TAMK) in Finland, held on the 3rd and 4th of September 2024. The visit focused on “Enhancing University-Industry Collaboration for Employment, Innovation, and Sustainable Ecosystems.”

The study visit provided an opportunity to dive deep into how TAMK fosters impactful university-industry partnerships. These collaborations are designed to improve graduate employability and support sustainable innovation, aligning the university’s efforts with industry needs. Participants explored a range of topics, from curriculum design to work-integrated learning, seeing firsthand how TAMK integrates these strategies to benefit both students and industry.
