The National Erasmus+ Office in Algeria is pleased to highlight the participation of its Coordinator, Pr. Mohamed Boudour, and Erasmus+ Higher Education Reform Expert, Pr. Kahina Amal Djiar, in the Training and Cooperation Activity (TCA) held from 2 to 4 December 2025 in Helsinki, Finland. The event, hosted by the Finnish National Agency for Education, focused on strengthening collaboration between vocational education providers and the world of work in response to the rapidly evolving labor market.
Bringing together experts, institutional representatives, and stakeholders from across Europe, the TCA explored key issues such as:
The role of working life in vocational education
Mechanisms for anticipating labor market needs
Workplace learning and apprenticeship models
Aligning training offer with regional and national workforce demands
Sustainability and green transition in education
The impact of digitalisation and artificial intelligence on employability and skills development
Through keynote interventions, workshops, good-practice presentations, and company visits, participants gained valuable insights into innovative approaches supporting skills relevance and employability.
Pr. Boudour and Pr. Djiar contributed actively to the exchanges, sharing the Algerian context and reaffirming the commitment of the National Erasmus+ Office to promoting cooperation, capacity-building, and reform in both higher education and vocational training.
This participation further strengthens NEO Algeria’s engagement in European cooperation activities and supports its ongoing work to enhance the quality and responsiveness of education and training systems in Algeria.
