Towards an Evidence-Based Future of Erasmus+, Warsaw

The Project Manager of the National Erasmus+ Office (NEO) Algeria took part in the international conference “Evidence-based approach in Erasmus+ and the European Solidarity Corps”, held on 25–26 November 2025 in Warsaw. This edition, themed “Towards an Evidence-Based Future of Erasmus+”, forms part of the preparation for the next Erasmus+ programme cycle (2028–2034) and highlights the growing importance of data and research in shaping strategic decisions.

Throughout the sessions, experts presented the current challenges faced by the Programme, including participation levels, student mobility trends, and the implementation of horizontal priorities. Several contributions demonstrated how scientific analysis, research networks, and feedback from the field help to enhance the impact of Erasmus+ projects across all sectors: higher education, VET, youth, and adult education.

Workshops and case studies on the second day showcased practices already in place within several national agencies and European networks, as well as tools that support the transformation of data into concrete policy guidance. The closing panel emphasized the need to strengthen evaluation culture within national structures, especially in view of the upcoming programme.

This participation provided a clear overview of emerging trends and facilitated valuable exchanges with experts, national agencies, and European networks.
