The National Erasmus+ Office in Algeria recently organized a national seminar in collaboration with the Cooperation Directorate of the Ministry of Higher Education and Scientific Research. This seminar on “Accreditation Process in Higher Education Institutions,” took place in a hybrid format on December 11 and 12, 2023, at the EPAU (Polytechnic School of Architecture and Urbanism) in Algiers. The seminar was led by Professor Tatjana Volkova, an internationally recognized expert in accrediting and evaluating Higher Education Institutions.
Designed for higher education institutions, particularly engineering schools and universities offering engineering programs, this workshop is part of the Erasmus+ Technical Assistance Mission (TAM) program proposed by the National Erasmus+ groupe of Higher Education Reform Experts (HEREs). The meeting brought together participants from various Algerian Higher Education Institutions, including members of the HERE group. Also in attendance were the Director of Cooperation at the Ministry of Higher Education and Scientific Research, Professor Hamdi Rachid, and His Excellency, Ambassador of the European Union, Thomas Eckert.
